Open KI-Werkstatt:
from problem to prototype

You bring a challenge that has been on the table internally for a while. In a curated group of teams from different companies, you turn it into a working demo with AI support at the Rainhaus.

The format

Two days, your use case: a working prototype at the end

You work on your idea in a Werkstatt, the German word for a workshop with tools on the bench. The name is meant literally: the tools are there, but nobody comes for the tools. You come because you want to build something. Producing as much as possible in two days is beside the point. What counts is leaving with clarity.

12 & 13 November 2026

Who it is for & why

For teams who want to truly understand AI on their own use case.

For business units, product or IT. You need no coding experience: The last edition in June ended with around ten prototypes, some of them built by people who had never programmed before. And because the format is open, you share the room with teams from other Hamburg companies.

Skills that grow on your own use case

How the Werkstatt works

Two working days at the Rainhaus. You take home a prototype you can show, and the next steps that keep it alive.

Understand the context

In a preliminary call with us, you clear up open questions including the technical setup, and you choose your challenge. On Thursday you sharpen it together and collect what the team and the AI need to know.

Design the vision

Next, you define what your solution should look like and how it should work. We support you with sparring on concept, strategy and design, plus AI coaching.

Build the solution

Still on Thursday, you build a first working version with AI tools such as Claude Code, even without programming skills. On Friday you test, keep building, and pitch to an external jury in the afternoon.
